- Your experience: Exchange program of 6 months
- Location: Wellington, New Zealand
- Universities attended: Victoria University of Wellington
- When: 02/2008 - 07/2008
- Why that destination: I wanted to travel to New Zealand and Australia
- How did you arrived at your destination: Fly Emirates (before Dubai and Sydney)
- Contribution of your University: I was helped in the search for courses and accommodation
- You have given exams: Yes
- Quantity: 3
- Difficulty: medium-low. The only initial barrier was the language
- Where to study:in the library with a fantastic view:the bay...
- Where did you stay:Waiteata . There are 12 apartments for international students at 2 steps from the university
- How did you stay: Very good
- With whom did you stay: 3 Americans, and my roommate's mythical Malaysia
- Distance from the University and the means to reach it: The seat prncipale is two steps. The detachment is a fifteen minute walk.
- How much it cost for month: $ 300 single room
- How did you find it: Through the University
- Why you recommend: Funny and in a perfect location
- Day: Beach, surfing, sailing, shopping, soccer, rugby if you want to hurt you ..
- Recommendations: There are several nice cafes in and around Cuba Street
- At night: Two Ways: Cuba Street (more rock and alternative), Courtenay Place (most commercial)
- Advice: Try to go to Sandwich (the only local input aa payment but worth it)
- How did you found with the locals: Well -they are very friendly
- How you found yourself in a foreign country: Excellent
- Where to eat: At home or Asian restaurants (good and cheap)
- What to eat: Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Malay, Vietnamese
- How much it cost: Asian restaurants (about 5 euros)
- Have you worked in that period: no
