What is Valenbisi?

Valenbisi is the public bicycle transport service that the city of Valencia offers.

How can I subscribe to Valenbisi?

You only need a temporary subscription (weekly or annual) which can be purchased online.
Before you can become a Valenbici member you must first purchase Mobilis Card which is a Valencia public transport card, these can be purchased in any “Estancos” tobacco shops or at “Kiosks”. You then use the number on the Mobilis card to subscribe to Valenbisi online. You will also have to give your bank details in case you exceed the first 30 free minutes of each trip, where you will then be charged extra costs. 
Once you complete the online subscription process you can go to the machines of any of the Valenbisi bicycle stops, one activated you will be then be authorised to use any of the bicycles.

How does the Valenbisi service work?

You can use it as many times as you want, but remember that only the first 30 minutes of each trip will be free, so be careful not to exceed this time unless you want to be charged, change bicycles if necessary to continue your journey in case you need more time.
It is also very important to make sure that the bicycle has been properly anchored when finished using it or the time will continue counting which will result in taking money from your account.



How much does Valenbisi cost?

The weekly subscription costs € 13.30
The annual payment € 29.21
There are other rates for people over 55 years which is €24, and €20 for the unemployed (without work for more than 6 months) who are over 35 or a combined payment of €26 if you already have a Mibisi card.

What happens if I have an accident with Valenbisi?

The Valenbisi subscription includes insurance. If any damages or injuries occur it is advisable to call the local police of Valencia (092) to document the accident and get advice. It is always advisable to take photographs of the damages of the accident, the registration of all vehicles involved and medical documents, etc., in order to have as much information as possible in case it is necessary in the future.
